Explore shared recipes
Browse the public recipe library, search recipe titles, and filter by production type, ingredients, style, ABV, original gravity and bitterness.
The public recipe library at /community/explore lists the recipes Brewstiller brewers have shared publicly, newest first. Anyone can browse it, with or without an account. A recipe shared only with a club never appears here.

With no filters set, the page opens with Start here recipes: first the recipes from the Brewstiller account, then the beginner-friendly recipes for each production type. Everything else is listed under More recipes. Choose Load more at the bottom to see older recipes.
Open a recipe card to see the full recipe.
Filter by production type
Use the All production types menu to show only brewery, winery or distillery recipes. Tick Start here only to see just the recipes their authors marked as beginner-friendly. These two filters apply as soon as you change them.
Search and filter
- Type words from the recipe title in Search recipe titles, for example
hazy ipa. A recipe matches when its title contains every word, in any order. Upper and lower case don't matter. Words need at least three characters; shorter words such as "a" or "of" are ignored, and only the five longest words count. - For more filters, choose More filters:
- Ingredients: up to three ingredient names, separated by commas, for example
Citra, Maris Otter. A recipe matches when it uses every ingredient you list. Part of a name is enough (citrafinds "Citra (US)"), but each entry needs at least three characters. - Style: lists only the styles that shared recipes use. If you picked a production type above, it lists only that type's styles.
- ABV (%), Original gravity (specific gravity) and Bitterness (IBU): enter a
From value, a To value, or both. Both ends are included. Gravity uses specific
gravity, such as
1.050. You can type a comma instead of a decimal point (6,5). A recipe with no value for a figure doesn't match a range on that figure.
- Ingredients: up to three ingredient names, separated by commas, for example
- Choose Search or press Enter.
Filters combine: a recipe has to match all of them. Text and numbers only take effect when you choose Search. If a field has a problem, such as a search with no word of three or more characters, or a To value below the From value, a message appears under it and nothing is searched until you fix it.
Choose Clear search to remove the search and the More filters values. The production type and Start here only stay as they are.
The address bar keeps your filters, so you can bookmark a filtered view or share the link.
When nothing matches
If no recipe matches, the page shows No recipes match and lists the filters you can loosen, for example "use fewer or shorter words, remove the ingredient or widen the ABV range". Choose Clear all filters to go back to the full library.
What the search covers
The search only looks at what every visitor can already see on a public recipe: its title, ingredient names, style, production type and the ABV, OG and IBU on its card. Your recipe notes, description, process instructions and ingredient notes are never searched, even when you shared them.
